Admitted at Sunway Medical due to Jaundice

Darwish dimasukkan ke ward kerana bacaan Jaundice above 235. Sedih mama tengok anak mama tidur bawah lampu (photolight theraphy) sampai kering & gelap kulit...

I'm the hero....

He..he.. I'm the hero!!! (Hero nangis kat Nursery UMSC). Memandangkan mama czer & susah nak bangun, maka Nurse lah yang rajin menjaga Darwish. Bila feeding time, Nurse akan tolak Darwish masuk ke bilik mama. Nurse pun bercerita pada mama yang anak mama ni hero menangis sampaikan nurse beramai-ramai baca ayat kursi. Lagi best pak guard siap datang bagi surah yassin lagi. Lagi satu, Darwish hero minum susu. Tak cukup susu mama, Darwish minum pula susu botol 2 auns (he..he baby lain 1 auns jer). Amat bersesuaian dengan gelaran Si Montel yang menjadi rebutan para Nurse di sini (bukan apa, senang nak mandikan baby besar berbanding baby kecil).

14 Mei 2011 - Here I am, Muhammad Darwish Bin Norzaidi

On Friday 13 May 2011, mama berpindah ke UMSC. Lepas discharge dari PPUM at 2.30 pm, mama terus ke UMSC (Dr. tak bagi balik walaupun due date 2nd June). Dr.cadangkan mama czer on Monday 16 May coz dah 37 weeks considered matured baby. On Saturday morning 14 May CTG test mama nampaknya ada contraction sikit. At 11.30 am Dr suggested mama utk emergency operation at 3 pm in order to avoid bleeding (placenta previa ni bleeding macam air paip - in 5 minutes baby boleh mati & also amat dangerous untuk mama). So...here I am, Muhammad Darwish Bin Norzaidi...born at 3.58 pm, 4.45 kg (hu..hu..estimated masa kat PPUM 3.85 kg jer..). Darwish comelkan... Masa ni nurse-nurse kat UMSC panggil Darwish si Montel.

Mama berpindah ke UMSC

At 37 weeks, mama decided nak pindah ke private wing, UM Specialist Centre. Why? Sebab nanti senang abah nak tunggu mama & darwish 24 jam sehari....he..he.. Lagipun memang mama asalnya check-up kat UMSC (after sunway reject kes "placenta previa" mama...hu..hu..hu.. mama sedih betul masa tu..). Then masa kat UMSC (32 weeks) Dr. Nuguelis dah advice mama untuk warded kat PPUM sampai due. Masa nak pindah, mama sedih juga nak tinggal kawan-kawan se "ward" (Aunty Afzan, Aunty Izan, Aunty Noraini) dan juga nurse-nurse yang saaaangat baik....

Ward O&G Baru PPUM

Hmmm... dah hampir sebulan mama dan darwish tinggal kat ward M1 PPUM. First time mama masuk ward ni, rasa macam nak balik je...macam zaman 70-an. Insya-allah, tak lama lagi ward ni akan berpindah ke bangunan baru. Cantik macam private hospital. Katanya 19 May nanti nak pindah. Macam mana pun, Darwish tak sempat kut masuk wad baru ni coz dah nak pindah ke UMSC.

Mama & Darwish Jadi Model

Memandangkan Mama admitted kat Hospital Universiti, and also Darwish ni pelik sikit coz according to the dr., tummy mama dah macam term size coz darwish besar sangat, maka dr. masukkan nama mama dalam list model pesakit untuk exam O&G specialist. Hmm..sorang candidate je terpilih untuk check mama, Dr perempuan. Tapi tak tahulah dia pass atau tidak coz dia agak ada 2 orang baby dalam tummy mama.... Hmmm...mama nak bagi hint pun tak de peluang.. Yang paling best, Darwish dapat duit upah RM 100 daripada PPUM..hee..he..hee.. dah pandai cari duit sejak dalam perut nampaknya. Walau macam mana pun, inilah kali terakhir Darwish jadi model coz jumaat ni mama nak minta discharge coz mama nak lahirkan Darwish kat UM Specialist Centre (UMSC) bukannya UMMC. Hmmm.. mama nak berkampung kat UMSC pulak dalam 10 hari setelah sebulan mama berkampung di UMMC. Hmm..abah kena keluar duit banyaklah pulak....(tak pe kan abah... 4 minggu abah mengajar master kat Ipoh pun dah boleh cover bil mama & Darwish..) Kalau abah tak cukup duit, boleh le pinjam duit Darwish yang RM100 tu (he..he..he..)

Me at 35 weeks 6 days

Today mama went for ultrasound, he...he... I am now 3.2kg..
1 week berat Darwish naik sekitar 400gm. Hmmm...ada lagi 2 minggu before mama kena c-sect on 19 Mei 2011.

2.8 kg at 33 weeks 5 days

Dr informed mama yang anak mama comel ni agak besar, 2.8 kg at 33 weeks 5 days. Hmm..Dr suruh mama bawa semula gambar-gambar scan di DEMC dan Sunway. Orang lain kat ward ni kalau 33 weeks or 34 weeks baru cecah 1.8 atau 2.2 kg jer..

Fundal Height Measurement

At about 3 pm, four doctors came to visit mama. Dr. Maha measured the fundal height by putting the tape over mama's belly. She was so surprised that the measurement turned out to be similar to those who already met full term. The four doctors then discussed and decided to do ultrasound scan. He..he.. everything was normal.. It just that I am so big....the doctors said that hospital foods were so good.... (The reasons...itulah abah selalu bawa makanan sedap-sedap untuk mama..)

33 weeks 5 days (day 7 at PPUM)

Today is day 7 mama at PPUM. I am ok, mama is having flu since yesterday. My next ultrasound will be held at 5th May 2011. Dr will decide when to deliver me through c-sect. Hope everything is ok.

Mama admitted at PPUM

On Tuesday 12 April 2010, mama went to see Dr. Nuguelis at UM Specialist. Mama was advised to go to PPUM for admission as the risk of premature delivery is very high. So mama went home, packed some clothes and came back to PPUM on Wednesday. Everything was done again as mama didn't bring the records from Sunway and UMSC. Fuh... mama will be in the ward for about 40 days... what a long stay... (he..he.. of course I will be with mama too).

Week 32 - Dexamethason Injection for me

On Friday 8 April 2011, Mama suddenly got contractions for 9 times from morning to night. It was only 32 weeks, still have 6 weeks to go. Saturday morning mama went to see Dr Wong at Sunway Medical to check on my condition. Everything was fine. It just Braxton Hicks contractions. However since mama is experiencing placenta previa, the contractions could trigger bleeding which could lead to pre-term labour. So Dr decided to give mama 4 injections; two in the morning and two at night. Dexa injections need to be done to mature my lung if in the case I born as premature baby.

Week 31 - Check-up at Sunway Medical

Saturday morning Mama & Abah pergi Sunway Medical Centre untuk Check-up Darwish. Actually asalnya Dr. kata nak bagi injection untuk matangkan paru-paru Darwish just in-case Darwish lahir awal. Tapi tak jadi pula mungkin sebab saiz Darwish dah sama macam baby 34 weeks (he..he..terlebih besar 3 minggu).

I am a stemlife baby!!

Today Auntie Rozi visited Mama to discuss the process of collecting my cord blood stem cell. According to Mama...my cord blood stem cell is like GOLD!! It is good to keep it as it can be used by Mama, Abah, Me & relatives in the future. It is so simple, Auntie Rozi gave Mama the stem cell collection kit to be brought to the hospital. The deposit is only RM300. The balance of about RM4,700 need to be paid after my birth (they also allow installment for 1 year - without interest).

My first bedtime musical toy

This is my first bedtime musical toy. A lion. Mama bought it from Mothercare @ Subang Parade. TQ Mama!!

My Cot Bed....Thank You Abah!!!

On Saturday, 19 March, Mama & Abah went to Mothercare @ Mid Valley Mega Mall to look for my baby cot. This was their second visit for which Mama initially wanted to buy a pine wood cot at RM899. However, the cot was out of stock...(hu..hu...Mama so sedih at that time..). Next option, Abah agreed to buy Jamestown cot & bed which cost him RM1,499 (with 10% discount)...horey...Mama happy again... and.....also..Abah bought me the special mothercare spring mattress (with so many safety features) at about RM799 (also with 10% discount). Hmmm...what about my bedding set??? Ohhhh....not to forget....TQ Mama for the lovely bedding set that cost you Rm499 (lagi mahal daripada bedding set katil king Mama)... But...although the cot bed and bedding set looks expensive, it gives value for money coz the cot can be transformed to a junior bed and also the bedding set consists of baby bedding set & junior bedding set. Mama kata...nanti kalau tak nak pakai dah boleh jual kat www.mudah.com.my

Surprise!!!! from Mama's Students

What I can say..mama got her first gift (on behalf of me) from her students (Group 6D). They presented the hamper to Mama after their class presentation. Thank you abang-abang & kakak-kakak AIS 630 6D!!!

A camel from Dubai

On 6th March 2011, Abah came back from Dubai. He bought me a camel as my first soft-toy. Not to forget, Abah also bought me a "jubah" that similar to his "jubah"(Abah kata nanti boleh boria masa raya 2011. Tq abah....love u so much..

4D Scan

Mummy went for 4D scan at Sunway Medical Centre during my 21st week. I'm a bit shy at that moment as I covered my face with my hands. Dr. Wong tried his best to wake me up and finally I removed my hands to let mummy and daddy see my face.
